Tropical Ginger Plant in One Gallon Container
These Tropical Ginger (Hedychium) plants are dormant during the winter,
and the stems are usually cut back so plants can reserve energy for root growth.
With early spring weather, some of the plants
show new growth shoots coming from the root systems (rhizomes) and out of the soil.
